Had a storm come through the other day and a few tree branches fell down. Someone was kind enough to have pulled them into my yard, thanks to them, cause I need some firewood.
Ok, it’s just been absolutely miserable outside and I had waited a few weeks to do this.
Sadly, the day I chose, did feel like it was fairly descent. Then, as soon as I started working, I realized how muggy it still was. Oh well, everything was out and ready to go, so I finished.
Then, the very next day, another storm came though, and a few more branches ended up on the ground. At least that tree is coming down, mostly on its own. Probably should go ahead and set into motion the slow decay of the next tree, so it can start to slowly die off as well.
