Rangers 55” Ultra Compact and Lightweight Aluminum Tripod

Today I got my Christmas present from Shannon, it is a Rangers 55” Ultra Compact and Lightweight Aluminum Tripod with 360° Panorama Ball head. This thing weights in at just under 3lbs, sturdy and lightweight.

When I say lightweight, I'm not talking cheap lightweight, I'm actually meaning lightweight and very sturdy feeling. Absolutely loving the wide stance of the legs, this really feels solid.

Even the panoramic swivel seems very solid, I pushed it around and around and around with one finger ease. To be honest, I didn't want to stop, it was just that much fun pushing it around in circles.

All the knobs appear to be pretty solid as well, nothing on this appears or feels cheap. The quick release plate is probably the cheapest feeling piece, but once it's attached to the camera, it feels as solid as everything else.

I've only been playing with it for a couple hours, but I can tell that I'm just going to love this thing for years to come!!
