It was the day before Mother's Day and me and the little one took a trip to the local home improvement store. For only being 2 1/2 years old, she sure was a lot of help. She ohh'ed and aww'ed at a lot of the flowers and we settled on which plants we were getting. After we got home, we took a nap and then she went shopping with Shannon, so I could start the project.
Shortly after I got started, the phone rang. Yep, I was called in to work, so most of the work took place on Mother's Day, the little one even got to help. We got it in just in time for Shannon to sit back and "it looks nice, I'm sure it'll look better in the daylight".
