Today I decided to work on the front yard a bit. This slab of cement has bothered me for years, it's basically a landing pad at the bottom of the stairs, but just ends abruptly. Maybe that's how they did it in the 1920's, but I just can't get behind it.
Originally, I wanted to move the steps to the side of the porch, and get rid of the entire cement work from the front. Starting to rethink that a bit and thinking I should put a form up and cement a sidewalk to the road and one to the driveway.
At least that way, I'd have something to shovel when it snows.
