Time to build my first ever soffit, these look simple enough to build so I shouldn't have too much trouble, right? Continuing on with my Ridgid Framing Nailer, and nearing the end of the parts for this project that require it's use, I load this bad boy up one more time and get to work.
Placing the first 2x4 was a tad bit more difficult than I thought it would be, but that's mainly because I was overthinking it. Once I figured that out, the rest was a breeze. Granted I'm no carpenter, but I don't think this soffit looks bad at all. Just a slight gap at the joint, but I have a plan to make this a seamless joint anyway. That said, I'm sure I can make it look right.
